Over 23 years of welcoming hospitality is located right here at our country bed and breakfast. Resting in a peaceful country setting graced by Magnolia, Pecan, Oak, and other native trees along the banks of historic White Rock Creek and just minutes from Magnolia Market, Baylor University and anything you may need in downtown Waco, sits our little piece of paradise. We are halfway between Dallas-Ft. Worth and Austin, just 2 1/2 miles off Interstate 35, but you’d never know it by its beautiful wooded surroundings.
Welcome to the Bed and Breakfast on White Rock Creek.
Blessings,
Dana & Retha

YoostonTX2024-07-07Quiet cozy stay for couples Such a loving wonderful couple run this place, my favorite part of the experience was probably visiting with them over breakfast! The breakfast was delicious and they offer a variety of options. Our room was very comfortable, clean and had a nice shower and comfy bed. The quiet property is located next to a nice park that was a lovely evening stroll by the creek. Great hosts, would definitely recommend!M C2023-10-21Beautiful, Clean, Affordable Luxury Very nice accumulations. Super clean. They think of everything to make sure your stay very comfortable. Spacious rooms. Our room had private jets in the bathtub. It also had a shower. Large king bed. Cable so we could watch Magnolia Network. Delicious breakfast. The owners are super friendly and kind. Everything was very clean. Can’t wait to stay there again.fbglove2023-05-01Comfy beds Very comfortable beds. Friendly owners. Charming rooms, but a bit over-decorated. Good breakfasts. Nice outside bistro tables near rooms, but mosquitos are plentiful with all of the overgrown foliage around the buildings and walkways.Etfortworth2023-02-13First time but hopefully not last Two rooms for 2 days, great accommodations, and breakfast was amazing. Both wives were Baylor grads in 70s, will definitely check here first when back in Waco for a couple of nights. Real convenient to the Mammoth excavation site, and Homestead shops.Karen_D6802022-12-23Family Christmas celebration in Waco We stayed in the Garden Suite. Parking was right next to our room. It was warm and inviting on such a cold day. Had rocking chairs we would have used had it not been 15°F outside. Bed was comfortable. The shower was tight but you get hot water almost instantaneously. The main house in the morning was enveloping with a roaring fire in the fireplace with bonus crackles we don’t get at home with our gas fireplace. Breakfast was made to order. They went above and beyond on service and hospitality. Dana and Retha were impeccable hosts. We are already looking forward to coming back.andrew izzo2022-09-25The Hidden Gem of Texas Never judge a book by its cover definitely applies here. This place is a hidden gem. It is the only bed-and-breakfast currently in Waco from what I’ve heard. I went to Baylor to visit my son for the weekend. It is located at about 10 minutes from the college. The prices are extremely cheap for what you get. The rooms are very charming and well-kept inside. Retha and Dana were very accommodating and wonderful people. They would constantly check on us and make sure everything was OK. They give you a piece of paper with local activities, and a QR code on the back of the sheet to connect to the Wi-Fi. Homemade breakfast awaits you in the morning. I suggest getting the stuffed French toast if it is offered. Never had it before, but I will definitely be having it again in the future.Complimentary welcome cookies are in the room when you get there. Just a really great experience overall. I will definitely be staying here next time I visit Waco. Five stars!DrSukie2022-07-17Don't miss this gem when in Waco Gorgeous, secluded location not far from city center and also nearby attractions to visit/tour, very friendly and gracious hosts, an amazingly comfy and inviting room with a fabulous soaking tub, and the most delicious, killer breakfast! I look forward to a return in Fall!Munro19542022-07-06The perfect place to stay in Waco We stayed here for one night and enjoyed the stay very much. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. We liked being outside the main portion of Waco. Very relaxing. The innkeepers were friendly, informative and attentive. The breakfast was yummy. Anytime we come back to Waco - this is where we will stay and we recommend it highly for all others.Lacey T2022-06-12Great BB My husband surprised me for a birthday weekend away without our 6 tiny humans. This was the perfect spot to rest, recharge, and connect. The owners were friendly, accommodating, and could not have been better host. The rooms were clean and well decorated. Breakfast was amazing each day. Wi-Fi. Easy to find. Great neighborhood. Hosts are knowledgeable of the area and provided great recommendation for local attractions.3Voyagers2022-04-14A Great Place to Relax. Located a few minutes drive away from most of Waco’s attractions on a populated country road. The room we stayed in had everything we needed including a large Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, small refrigerator, microwave, and hair dryer. Towels and washcloths were adequate for our three day stay. The mattress and bedding were comfortable. Check in and out was simple with the owner meeting us and showing us to our room. The breakfasts were good and more than adequate. Our unusual dietary needs were well accommodated. The owners were very friendly and very knowledgeable of Waco with suggestions of things to see. The only problem we encountered was that it is a short drive back into Waco to restaurants and would suggest bringing some snack food for those days when you just do not want to drive back to a restaurant. We thought from some other reviews that there was an outside hot tub but this is not the case. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and plan to return in the fall.Tripadvisor rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 91 reviews
